She Reads Everything

I love books. Just staring at my bookshelves gives me a sense of peace. Rather than any specific genre, I love good books. To me a good book is one that at the end leaves me happier and/or smarter.

The Last Boyfriend (Inn BoonsBoro Trilogy)

The Last Boyfriend - MacLeod Andrews, Nora Roberts Initial reaction:OMG, I hate this title! What the heck, Nora? And yes, I'm still going to read it - but only to hear more about Ryder! After reading:Mostly sweet, lots of warm fuzzies, lots of declarations in practically every scene about how everything is "beautiful" and "perfect" (I lost count of how many bottles of rare champagne were popped for every occasion), except for Roberts' obvious lack of understanding for any women dealing with unwanted pregnancies or postpartum depression - that almost got the book two stars. The major fight scene between Owen & Avery however was hysterical and saved the book for me. As did Ryder. Please, please let Ryder's book be good!
